About the CPKC Holiday Train

The 2024 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. Nov. 21 through Dec. 20, raising money, food and awareness to support food banks across our network. Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train's stage. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation. 2024 marks the 20th anniversary the CPKC Holiday Train has stopped in Cambridge. 

Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $24.3 million and collected approximately 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.

• 4 pm - CPKC Holiday Train arrives
• 4:15 to 4:45 pm - CPKC Holiday Train concert with the American Authors and KT Tunstall
• 4:55 pm - CPKC Holiday Train departs the train station for its next stop

Things to Know about the CPKC Holiday Train

• Please note times are subject to change. If the train arrives for the event early, the concert will begin at the scheduled time. 
• The event takes place on gravel and attendees might require assistance. 
• Staff and volunteers from the Cambridge Food Bank will be onsite collecting monetary and food donations.  They will be also be hosting a BBQ with hot dogs.

• General parking is not available onsite. Free parking for the event is available near the event.  Limited accessible parking will be available on Roseview Rd and attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
